I have tried water skiing and I wasn't very good, but I'm now learning to ski on snow! I come from Ireland but now live in California and had never seen snow before last year (!!). Thats one of the great things about being a scientist - you get to live and work in places that can be very different to where you grew up (only if you want to of course) so ever day is like an adventure!

I'd love to learn to water ski, or maybe wakeboard. I love to surf, so wakeboarding seems like faster version of that!

I learned to water ski when I was in grade school. My parent's Sunday School class went each Labor Day to Lake Texoma. It was wonderful fun, and I learned to play bridge there too. Unfortunately I don't have a power boat so I haven't been water skiing in a long time, but I do snow ski every year or two. ...Pat
