    how many of the scientists have seen more than one total solar eclipse? did you take pictures of it?

    I have only seen one (Feb 1998 from CuraƧao), but I would love to see another. I did try to take a picture of it, but just with my regular camera, so it did not come out very well. To get anything like the detail you can see by eye during an eclipse you have to use a nice camera and take a bunch of different length exposures and combine them.

    I have seen several. The first one, I didn't really see though. In March 1970, the path of totality went through what was then my home state of Georgia. My mother and I drove to Fort Jackson, about a five hour drive from our home, and "experienced" the eclipse under a totally cloudy sky. Since then though, I saw one in 1994 in Peru, then 1999 in Romania, then 2001 in Zambia, Africa. And yes, I took pictures.
