    Erica (Fox) Do you think there are other planets around double star systems, and if so, do you believe they could be like earth?

    Hi Erica,

    Yes, there can be planets around double star systems..

    In fact, over 20 explanets orbiting binary star systems have been found...and they are much harder to find around double star systems.

    It is possible that there could be habital planets like Earth ( and Tatoonie) around a binary star system if the two stars were close together..closer than the distance between the Earth and the Sun.

    Wouldn't life be interesting with two Suns!
